Pictures of new appliance

You can see that the new appliance makes my lips look funny! Almost worst then with the braces.

Smiling with the new appliance.

Close up of the teeth with the "things" on. You can see that it is clear plasitc, but it's pretty thick! Also, if you look closely, you can see where the metal and springs are embedded.

Kind of looks like a Hawley retainer. I tried to point out where the springs are. When I put it on, it expands to fit my teeth now. But this is what they will look like when we are done.

wow crazy contraption, sucks to be the guinea pig, BUT no crowns...all your original teeth, that sounds like a good deal to me!

WEIRD! Guinea pig huh? That would be my luck too. At least they will pay special attention to you. =D

interesting for sure. Do you have to wear them all the time or just at night? I imagine it would be difficult to talk with these in. Always something but hopefully you're getting closer to being done for good.

I have to wear them as close to 24 hours a day as I can. I take them out to eat or drink anything other then water. The first few days were rough, but I can get them in and out pretty quickly now. Hopefully it won't be for too long. I can already tell that they are moving closer when I floss! So we're getting somewhere with them!

Very weird looking. I agree with Shontell, with my luck, I would have to be the guinea pig too.
It's good that you can feel it working though.
I wonder why we don't hear of this problem more often? It seems as though after all of us get our bands off, we would all have some spaces... right?

Wow, good to know they work fast, because they sure look like they must feel big, if that makes sense. Good luck!

It's pretty late to ask something about your teeth, but how did everything go with that appliance you have? How many weeks were you able to see significant changes on your teeth?
