Changes!

Who would have thought a person's looks could go through all of this in only one month? The human body really is an amazing thing in how it heals itself.

1 month post-op. My lips ALMOST touch without me having to force them! The surgeon said after the numbness wears off and the braces come off, they will FINALLY touch!!!

Hey! I love reading your progress after jaw surgery. I plan to have mine done at the end of December. How long did it take for you to go back to work/school?

Hey Lars! I'm glad that you enjoy reading my progress. There are SO many great blogs out there, and they are SO helpful when you are getting ready for surgery. What kind of surgery are you having? I took 3 weeks off of work. I could have gone back after 2, but decided to take the extra week off to work on my masters thesis! I actually only took one week off from school (the day of my surgery, and the class 2 days after the surgery), but I'm only taking one class, so it's just 1.5 hours 2 times a week. I really want to get that finished this semester! Good luck, and keep me updated!

Great pics! You look good. Thanks for posting...My surgery is coming up in two weeks and it is nice to see others who have already gone through surgery.

I am so sorry to read that you haven't been feeling well. I hope this new doctor can give you a better diagnosis than the others. It's unfortunate that you have to see so many.
On another note, you look amazing!! You must be so happy with your results!
Good luck and take care!

Hey Tara,
I typed a big long message to you and then lost it somehow. How are you doing? Have they been able to find out what the real issues is for you? How's the dizziness? are you feeling any better?

Thanks for asking how I am doing Brandy. I hate when I type someone and then it gets lost. Still don't know what is causing the dizziness, but I do have an apointment with a new neurologist on the 28th, so hopefully we will start getting some answers. I am feeling better then I was. Still dizzy, but not as bad as last week! I'm probably just getting used to it. I'll keep you updated!
